Hi, my name is Simon, and I’m a senior at UC Berkeley studying Statistics and Data Science. I first got interested in data through fantasy football. I loved uncovering hidden opportunities and predicting player performance. In college, I taught myself to code through personal projects: building sports betting web scrapers, job scrapers, learning full-stack development for an iOS app, and constantly thinking about new ways to beat the NFL sportsbooks.
I enjoy building systems and pipelines that automate workflows, save time, and make things more efficient. Most of what I build centers around that idea: creating something once that scales and can operate as "shortcuts", which I find incredibly satisfying. After graduation, I’m looking for opportunities in data science, software engineering, and startups.
